BPerfect Carnival 3 Palette: First Impressions

It all started last year at Christmas time... When the first ever BPerfect eyeshadow palette I decided to purchase, was actually a gift for someone else, despite how much I wanted it for myself.

Fast forward to this year. Everything's been surprisingly stressful and difficult, when you find out that BPerfect cosmetics is having a massive Christmas/new years sale.

ENTER: THIS PALETTE!

Now I realise that I've completely romanticised the simple act of spending more money on makeup that I don't need, but I thought I needed to show how badly I wanted this palette before beginning the actual review part...

The Love Tahiti eyeshadow palette comes with a mirror and 40 brand new eyeshadow shades!

Containing 31 mattes, 4 pressed pigment duos, 3 metallics and 2 pigmented shimmers... All for the grand price of £36.99!

Personally the colour story of this palette was one of the main reasons I couldn't resist picking it up. It comes with all my favourite everyday classic warm tones, as well as a whole bunch of greens and purples. Making this an absolute dream palette to have in my collection.

I also particularly enjoyed the layout of this palette, as it made making a cohesive makeup look super easy, as each quad of eyeshadows in the palette seemed to all fit well together.

Now, as this is a first impression review, I'll keep things pretty basic and to the point.

After trying this product for the first time, I am unbelievably impressed with the quality.

I decided to try out the more everyday tones, and created a simple everyday makeup look using the shades ginger, tan lines, vanilla, yell'o, sand and rum.

All of which were extremely pigmented, blended seamlessly and with ease.

The matte shades, weren't chalky, or difficult to work with at all. All of the shades which I used were truly beautiful.

However, I found the shimmer/pressed pigment shades to be the absolute stand out shades In this palette.

The shade Rum was absolutely packed with pigment and blended onto my eyelid with ease, despite not using a primer or a wet eyeshadow brush.

This particular shade was super Shimmery/glittery but without appearing to have large particles or glitter flakes. Leaving my eyelid with an almost wet looking copper sheen to it.

I also experienced zero fall out or loose glitter pigments on my face whatsoever.

As for the shade vanilla...

Another beautiful pigment packed sparkly shade, with an amazing almost green champagne shift to it when applied to the eyelid. I actually used this shade as an inner corner highlight and it was absolutely gorgeous... (If I do say so myself.. *wink)

So far, I've experienced zero staining of the eyelid from these colours, and found that they removed with ease at the end of the day, without leaving huge chunks of glitter still stuck to my face days later.

All in all, I've been super happy with my first BPerfect Palette purchase and am looking forward to all the fun makeup looks I'm hoping to create in future! (Even if it is just to walk around Tesco.)

This palette is available on the official BPerfect cosmetics website as well as beauty bay for those of you who are considering giving it a try for yourself!

Until the next time...
