Lack of Sleep!?

Everyone knows that at some stage in your life, month, or usually in my case, week! You can have some serious trouble trying to sleep!

Sometimes it can be because of stress or anxieties, health, or even more frustrating, when there is no explanation!! 

It can become a seriously frustrating and draining process. Especially for people who have really busy lives, and without a doubt, need that decent nights sleep! 

As someone who has experience with some serious insomnia issues throughout the years, I've learned different ways to cope without sleep, but no one really wants to hear any of that, you'd all prefer to just hear about how to get a decent nights sleep! Correct? 

So, in this post, I'm going to try and share, just a few short words of advice, that might actually make a difference for some people, as it can sometimes really help me...

1. Set yourself up!!

I personally have found that trying to set yourself up for a decent nights sleep, is without a doubt, one of the most important steps!

So, obviously, it's important to try and create a space for yourself to sleep in, were you feel relaxed and safe. For myself, I'm all about that cosy life!

(Candles can be a really great way to create, dim relaxing lighting!)

Blankets, pillows, electric blanket, hot water bottles, low lighting. Whatever you can afford, and whatever makes you feel the happiest and calmest. Do it! 

The shadow stash!

Okay, so as I'm sure a lot of people are aware, especially if you follow my instagram. It would appear to some that I have a serious addiction when it comes to eye shadow palettes.


I remember the days when I wasn't really that fussed about eyeshadow, I used to be all about that eyeliner life, but slowly over the years, my eyeshadow palette collection has been ever growing.

However, it wasn't until a few days ago, when I had purchased, yet another palette! That It suddenly dawned on me! I've never shared  my eye shadow collection on my blog!

So, I would suggest getting yourself  a massive cup of tea and snuggling down, because this post, might just be a long one...


1.I Heart Makeup Golden Chocolate Bar palette- £8.99

For any of my fellow makeup lovers, I guarantee you have already heard of this makeup brand. Mostly because It's widely known for their own version/ makeup dupes of the brand Too Faced and their very own chocolate bar palettes. Except for the fact that these palettes are way more affordable..

Up until quite recently, these eye shadows palettes and this particular makeup brand, were a bit difficult to get a hold off. Although you could purchase them on websites such as TAM beauty and Superdrug, the palettes I wanted always seemed to be out of stock, and also no one really wants to pay a whole £3.99 for delivery!
So you can imagine my joy, when I recently popped into my local superdrug and discovered they had now added a full I heart makeup stand.

 The brand actually has a huge range of different coloured palettes, but after much deliberating, I settled on the Golden Bar palette.

Lush Haul!

So, years ago, when I first started blogging, I suffered with some serious, like, extremely painful eczema. My skin was super sensitive and would become irritated by near enough every single product I would use. This led me on a long and extremely boring journey, where I constantly had to try new products and hope for the best.

Then I found Lush...

I instantly fell in love with a handful of products that seemed to be super soothing and calming on my painful and irritated skin. However, after a long time of using these products, I ended up suffering with weird random allergic reactions, which as a result of,  I  had to stop using my precious Lush products. I soon found the cause of these severe reactions and was quick to stop the root of the problem. (yes, it was the contraceptive pill. Nobody talks about it, but hormones can cause serious skin irritations!)

And here I am! almost two years later, and after a very nerve racking trip into Lush, I have found myself falling back in love with all of the products that I once loved. Some are brand new to me, Some are old favourites, but the best part is that I haven't suffered with a single allergic reaction!

You can imagine How over the moon I am about this, because... LUSH! I mean how can you not love all them beautiful colours and smells! 

Time to Begin The Haul!!
